Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been a little bit busy with the kids and trying to keep up with my cleaning schedule (it’s not going so well). This weekend, while I decided to be productive, I also did a couple DIY projects; from starting the end of the year teacher presents to a total improvised kitchen floor cleaning…(see more below):
Over the weekend, I absolutely had to clean my kitchen floors (I haven’t been sticking to my own schedule) and I realized I ran out of cleaning solutions…but NO WORRIES. Amazon is just a click away and I ordered my favorite natural cleaner. I use 1/2 of the bottle when I wash my floors, but I also use it for counter tops, windows, etc. It smells amazing….but prime wouldn’t get it to me until today; and my floors needed to be clean. Luckily, I had distilled vinegar (my secret sauce!). I normally like to use a splash of this anyway when I wash my floor, because the smell + results always look fantastic This is the first time I had to use it by itself, and luckily, I had used it in the past, so I wasn’t so weary. An hour or so later, the floors we’re cleaned and I as exhausted…but it was done.
Fast forward to Saturday; it down poured and they got dirty again. Oh well, that’s the nature of having kids who like to jump in muddle puddles outside!
And then I decided to tackle the play room project – which has needed to get done for a while; painted, installed the day bed, and while it still has some work to do, I’m pretty happy with the progress.
What is your favorite secret cleaning solution? Is it store brought? Is it something you magically found online, or just whipped up one day but it smells fantastic let me know! My kids are sensitive so I am always looking to go 100% natural and if I can create it myself; even better!
